Solved a soft stool problem
I selected Zesty Paws after reading online reviews. Our problem was that our young, large-breed dog had soft stools. Our vet recommended a probiotic. After two days of giving her Zesty Paws chews on her kibble, her stools are normal. Easy peasy. BTW, she likes Zesty Paws, she eats them first like a treat.

This review is for Zesty Paws Probiotics for Dogs.The Good: Flavor, smell, effectiveness.The Bad: Nothing.The Ugly: Not a thing.The Long Review: Since I’m not about to taste test these myself, this review will be fairly short. We have a pair of very active AussieDoodles, one will eat anything, the other a bit of a picky eater. Both of our dogs LOVE the Chicken flavor of these probiotics, and I have noticed that they do stay very regular and healthy with them.I don’t feed them these supplements daily, but I don’t think there would be an issue of doing so, especially if your furbaby had digestive issues and irregular bowel movements.I will say, the smell of these is more pleasant than others I have tried. My spouse actually mentioned that after smelling them, she wanted some chicken herself, and I have to say, the smell really is nice. I can also confirm that our dogs come right up and sit politely, the moment they see me pull the jar off the shelf. They know something special is coming, and they’re on their best manners to get it!Final Thoughts: These are some of the more affordable probiotics I’ve found for dogs, they’re effective and the dogs seem to really enjoy them a lot.

Good product and my dog loves it
I was skeptical at first because I am not familiar with this brand and I was afraid that my dog won’t like it like the first probiotic I purchased for him. I tried to give him this probiotic and he ate it right away and want more, but he can only take one a day. And the probiotic works well. My dog no longer have digestive issues such as want to eating grass or licking numerous time and no longer diarrhea. I am happy with the product, and happy for my dog.

Refused to open.
UPDATE: Customer is great. I was not expecting this but Zesty Paws reach out and offered a refund. I declined because I did get the container open in the end, but appreciate and respect that they reached out to me.I also want to add my dogs like the probiotic pumpkin and they help with tummy issues.This new packaging was ridiculously hard to open. There is a hard piece of plastic that you were supposed to pull around the lid. Well, it broke off many attempts, trying to get it open finally took a knife to it, which is dangerous, but I was able to open the container Has a different smell to it dog gave it the side but did eat it so I guess all is well Note for anybody that may have issues opening jars this may not be for you.

My dog couldn’t handle it.
I read the reviews and my dog has similar issues with skin itching and licking/biting her paws as other reviews have described. My dog also has been losing hair, leaving bald spots. Vet said to change shampoos and gave antibiotics. As soon as the antibiotics were gone, her condition returned. I was hoping this would work for my dog but every time I give her one, within a few hours, she throws up. It’s not an isolated incident. She never throws up. I have tried this in the past and the same thing used to happen. I thought it was a fluke or something else I was missing, or maybe because I had given her one at night (too late in the evening) but after a long break from them, I thought I would try again. She threw up 2x in one day and it was in the afternoon. I’m sure there is nothing wrong with the product and it’s most likely due to my dog’s sensitive stomach or it just doesn’t agree with her. Just be careful if your dog has a sensitive stomach. As for my dog, I suppose I will have to put her back on medication from the vet for all her allergies and such. I’m sad 😔 I was hoping this would help avoid constant medication.Wasn’t sure how to rate this bcz it’s most likely because of my dog in particular but I wish I had a sensitive stomach warning prior to purchasing. I’m sure it works for strong dogs.

This stuff works!
This is Booger…he is a terrier mix. Boog skins issues regarding the types of food he eats…I finally found the good food NOW I needed a gut pill…and Zesty Paws Gut Health is it! He loves the pumpkin flavor and he gets his “pill” every morning at 7 AM…he knows where they are kept and he will go and sit by the cabinet until I give it to him. In about 2 weeks, I noticed a visible change in his skin and in his scratching. After 4 weeks there wasn’t any scratching or bumps on his skin. After 2 months, nothing. That was 4 years ago. He still takes a pill every morning at 7 AM, without fail. He is happy, itch free, bump free and I am so relieved that I found this product for my little boogie man. I cannot recommend Zesty Paws enough!

Now we can comfortably stay in the same room as our new coffee he Musta had an upset stomach, but just did the trick. We tried what the vet suggested Pepto-Bismol that didn’t work something over-the-counter from the vet that didn’t work so I went on the hunt for a good probiotic by holistic vet on utube great. It’s very expensive.. veterinarian actually said any probiotic is helpful and I want to make sure it was doggy doggy so I spent the extra money here it took about three weeks and he does no smell whatsoever and doesn’t look at me like oh I just farted sorry. Golden retrievers are super sensitive. They want to cuddle all the time so you can imagine his farts they were stinky. Not any more. I continue this with lust expensive item. Only loves the test. I was not paid for this review. I just got extra kisses from the puppy.

My Basset Puppies didn’t like it but it did it’s job
My puppies didn’t like the flavor. I had to grind it up in my hands before I put it over their puppy food. I think other dogs may like it. I ended up buying a dog food that had way more probiotics for them and it’s a lamb base. It wasn’t right for my dogs but maybe it could be good for someone else.

Wow Game Changer

Dog Won’t Eat.
My dog will eat ANYTHING, except for these. If they taste half as bad as they smell, I don’t blame him. I even covered them in peanut butter…no way, no how. They may work, but we’ll never know. You would think the manufacturer could make something edible.Update: Seller is offering a different flavor or a full refund. They reached out to me and everything is right with the world again. Definitely buy from them again if they have a product I need for my buddies.

My baby LOVES these, she is very picky with any treats. I’ve spoken to her vet and they mentioned the brand is safe, at first i did buy another one of these products and was giving her 1 of each daily but some have similar ingredients and defeated the purpose so i’ve cut back to just 1 once a day. I initially bought them because she was itching a lot to the point where her fur was starting to shed and now her fur has grown back, her excessive licking has cut back a lot and overall i’m happy with the purchase, will be buying again.

Works for dog BAD BREATH
My dog had bad breath for years. Gave her dentals every six months, put stuff in her water that was supposed to help with bad breath, gave her chews and did everything I could think of to help her rancid breath. I could barely hold my dog because her breath was unbearable. Someone mentioned that bad breath comes from the gut and I got an idea. I tried these and BAM! the bad breath was gone in two weeks. There was a slight increase of poop for a few days but it leveled off…. BUT her breath is clean and tolerable and almost no smell. I can’t believe it. After all these years, now she is a full time lap dog like she was supposed to be.

This DOES help firm his stool enough that he’s able to express them with each BM. Causing Rash and Upset Stomach
I changed the stars to 4 stars being the Zesty Paws company reached out to me and offered me a full refund or exchange. This is excellent customer service! Know that I can’t be certain this product caused our issues with our fur babies. It was just the only thing I’ve done new in the past month. So with that being said… every animal can react differently just as we do with medications. Some can handle a certain medication where some can not. My motto…”When in doubt don’t!” This product does have many positive reviews…many more than negative. Just some pups can’t tolerate it where it does wonders for others. Thankyou Zesty Paws for your understanding and excellent customer service!Since we’ve been using this product, (a few weeks) my Papillon has developed a rash and sores on his back. So not normal for him. He has a beautiful coat of fur and I was shocked that when I went to pet him on his back, I felt a line of sores down his spine from his neck to his tail.Now I had my other dog groomed yesterday and found that he has a rash and sores on him also. (Which he doesn’t like these and turns away when I try to give to him so I crumble over his food).My 3rd fur baby is definitely showing much less of an appetite since she’s been on this. All of them have been throwing up lately and eating grass to feel better. I’m discontinuing use immediately!I tried to return but no returns are accepted.

My dog finally has fully-formed stools!
My dog tends to have a very sensitive stomach.. her stools were always a bit on the softer side, so I decided to start giving her some probiotics. I like these because they have different flavors. She can’t have pork or chicken, so bison it is. She loves them and gets one with breakfast and one with dinner! Her stools have been so much more formed since starting these, even when she takes her monthly dose of Heartgard – which would normally cause a bit of loose stools 2 days after. We now have these on Subscribe and Save to make sure we’ll always have them when we need them. 🙂
